Actividad recomendada: SBE25 WestMED Conference – Seville 2025

We are pleased to announce the upcoming international conference SBE25 WestMED – Innovative Practices for Sustainable Urban Development in the Mediterranean, which will take place from 22 to 24 October 2025 at the University of Seville, Spain.

Programme

This event is part of the prestigious global SBE (Sustainable Built Environment) series and will bring together international experts, researchers, policy-makers, and professionals to address the key sustainability challenges faced by Mediterranean cities and regions.

Organised by three leading universities:

  • Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (SAP+D–UM6P, Morocco)
  • Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon (Portugal)
  • University of Seville (Spain)

Keynote Lectures and Highlights:

  • Prof. Thomas Lützkendorf (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology / FIDIC), will deliver the opening keynote on global priorities for the sustainable built environment.
  • Anders Persson, representing the international SBE Partners (iiSBE, CIB, FIDIC, UNEP), will deliver the official opening remarks.
  • Active participation of the regional conference co-chairs: Prof. Hassan Radoine (SAP+D–UM6P, Morocco);  Prof. José Dinis Silvestre (IST–ULisboa, Portugal) and  Prof. Antonio García Martínez (University of Seville, Spain)
